Maddy Couperus

Maddy Couperus was born in Fairview, Utah, the youngest of three daughters to Jim and Mabel Custer. Music has always been a part of her life. She sang for her first crusade at age 2 ½ and sang in her home church and for various community programs. At the age of 7 she began singing harmony with her sisters and they were known as the Custer Sisters Trio for many years.
She graduated from Lynwood Academy and attended La Sierra College. She married Pete Couperus and had two daughters, Heather and Hilary and raised her family in Sacramento, California. After fifteen years of marriage she had wandered far from the church and had become a single parent but the Lord never gave up on her. Through years of searching for happiness she found her joy in the Lord. Feeling such sadness for the wasted years when she hadn't used her talent for the Lord, she dedicated her talent to Him.

She became burdened with the desire to work in evangelism and through a series of God given circumstances she has been soloist for the Kenneth Cox Evangelistic team for 11 years. Maddy is affiliated with Three Angels Broadcasting through the Kenneth Cox Ministries, and has been on numerous satellite uplinks and various video presentations. She has also been on the Voice of Prophecy Reunion projects.

In having a part in bringing people to the Lord she has found the joy she was searching for.
