Dear Friend,
During this month of May, we commemorate two special days: Mother's Day on the 14 th , and Memorial Day on the 29 th .
And this year, another day of remembrance has been added to the May calendar. Christian leaders throughout our nation have declared May 7 as “10 Commandments Day”. Its purpose: to bring a revival of interest in the commandments of God. 
To ties this event in with our own distinctive beliefs, the Seventh-day Adventist Church is declaring Sabbath, May 6, as “Written in the Heart Sabbath.” That weekend, 3ABN will air special live broadcast from Washington , D.C.
What an opportunity to bring national focus on God's holy law! And especially - to spotlight that “forgotten” day that the Lord has called us to remember in the 4 th commandment: the seventh-day Sabbath.
Friend, God doesn't ever forget you, or me; He says, “See, I have engraved you on the palms of My hands!” (Isa. 49:16) And we should always be mindful of His loving presence in our lives.
But in particular, we ought to remember the Lord on His own special day – the Sabbath! It's the day God made, and blessed, and set aside so that we could have a weekly “memorial” of His love for us – a remembrance of His creative and redemption power.
This day is God's gift of time . . . to rest from our work, to be with our loved ones, to gather together and worship Him.
You know, it breaks my heart that most Christians, though well-meaning, have been led to believe that Sunday is the Lord 's day. But the Scriptures clearly state that the seventh day – Saturday – is God's true, original, unchangeable Sabbath day.
And I have dedicated my life and ministry to sharing the truth about this “forgotten” day that is found at the very center of the Ten Commandment, God's holy law, written in stone by His won hand!
In fact, I was just a boy helping my dad plow a field on our Oklahoma farm, when I first learned about Jesus and the truths of His Word – including the Sabbath truth.
My mother, who was looking through a Sears & Roebuck catalog, found a paper tucked inside which explained that Saturday is God's hole Sabbath Day! Mother go so excited – she ran right out to the field Dad was plowing and shared this wonderful discovery! Sometime later, I sensed the Lord calling me intro the ministry.
What a joy it is to see hoe thrilled people become as they meet Christ and discover His special truths for these last days. For example, here is Robert from Texas , who wrote,
“Pastor Cox, words can't express what a deep inspiration your sermons on videotape have been to me. It was through you that I become enlightened to the Sabbath truth, and I praise our Lord and Savior!... I want you to know that now I keep the Sabbath and it's a delight.”
